Subject:          Update on General Appropriations Bill and FY21 Budget – House Vote


I wanted to let you know that this morning the Oklahoma House of Representatives passed the General Appropriations bill (SB 1922) by a vote of 77-23. A copy of the press release issued by the Oklahoma House of Representatives regarding SB 1922 has been attached (Attachment 1). Additionally, a copy of the House vote on SB 1922 has been attached for your review (Attachment 2).

SB 1922 contains our state system of higher education’s appropriation for FY21 and has programmed higher education for a total appropriation of $770,414,742. This represents a 3.95% percent decrease from the FY20 budget.

SB 1922 will now go to Governor Stitt for his signature. We will keep you advised regarding any new developments on the FY21 budget.
