UIS does too, and by including both groups in the question the data are of little use to us (i.e., can't correct something if you don't know the source of the issue). Can we do two separate questions, and perhaps include an "if applicable"?

FLC uses professional advisors, as well as faculty advisors.

A question like this would not generally make sense for FLC freshmen.

I'd suggest "quality of advising" (which come from faculty or a professional advisor)

Would the group consider being more specific to question 3 noted below by Nancy:

1. Overall how would you evaluate the quality of faculty academic advising you have received at your institution? With a scale of Excellent, Good, Fair Poor

2. How would you evaluate your entire Educational Experience at your institution? With a scale of Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor

3. Indicate your level of satisfaction with Quality of Instruction at your institution? With a scale of Very Satisfied, Satisfied, Neutral, Dissatisfied, Very Dissatisfied

4. Overall how would you evaluate the Quality of Academic Advising you have received at your institution? With a scale of Excellent, Good, Fair Poor

Hello all,

It is time for our review of the additional questions we pose to our consortium's students. Please find attached the final list of questions from the last administration. If you would like to make any changes, please send to the group? Also, the deadline for submitting the additional questions is October 7th, so we have a pretty tight time frame to make any changes...

The COPLAC consortium has been created with NSSE so it should be available when you register your school. If you have not yet registered, there is still plenty of time, the deadline is November 4th.

Thanks!

Lynn
