[COPLAC-IR] Fort Lewis and the COPLAC consortium

Hi folks,

I got an answer regarding Fort Lewis College's preference not to be in the NSSE consortium with respect to COPLAC's desire to have Fort Lewis in the comparison group data.

The basic answer is that if you want to have Fort Lewis included in your COPLAC comparison group, you just have to take the step of adding them manually.  As Jennifer explains below, your default comparison group is editable; so you just need to make this one edit.

Hi Brian,

On the Institution Report that each campus receives, the first default comparison group for each school will be members of the COPLAC consortium. But, that group will be editable, so each campus could opt to add Fort Lewis into that comparison group when invited to customize their comparison groups (in late May/June).

The consortium report sent to you, however, containing aggregate results would not contain Fort Lewis, however. Were you hoping for inclusion in the institutional reports, or the summary consortium report that is produced for you only?

Hi Jennifer,

more pesky questions.....

One of our COPLAC members, Fort Lewis College, doesn't want to do the consortium because they want to add two NSSE modules and not have the COPLAC additional questions.  The rest of us in COPLAC are wondering if we can still have Fort Lewis included in the aggregated COPLAC data, so we have as full of a comparison group as possible.  Can we have that happen?

Hi Jennifer,

Can you help us out with something?  SUNY-Geneseo was not included in the online list of schools for me to include in my COPLAC consortium when I created it earlier this month.  Consequently, when Julie Rao goes to add the COPLAC consortium to her NSSE registration, the option is not there for her.  How can we get Geneseo into the COPLAC consortium?
