[COPLAC-IR] : NSSE dilemna

FLC is very interested in two of the modules in NSSE  (Advising and Diversity).

The former is well tied to some strategic initiatives that we've taken in the area of student success.
The later is part of our institutional mission.

However, since we signed up with the COPLAC group - we're only allowed to pick one module.

This puts me into a nasty conundrum --- although I utilize the COPLAC comparison group - I don't really use the questions.

So - my participation with COPLAC is going to limit my ability to ask important questions.

Any thoughts/recommendations?

I'm trying to remember if I can create a comparison group without being in the actual consortium (which locks me into the questions).
