Hi Mark,

Thank you for circulating this first draft!


1)      University of South Carolina - Aiken and Mansfield University are missing from the Table of Contents again this year.  If they did not submit their data yet, please include them with blank cells in the report to emphasize that individual institutions will have to follow up with those 2 schools directly when calculating peer benchmarks for our various institutional performance metrics.  This is their 2nd year of membership in COPLAC, so it is also possible that they submitted their data, but it is just the report template that didn't get updated.



2)      Your "introduction" paragraph in the word document states that this is the "first year" of the new data collection process (after we met in West Virginia to align COPLAC metrics with IPEDS and CDS wherever possible); however, this year's collection is now the "3rd" year of the new collection format.





3)      I checked on the other problematic areas that we discussed from last year, and they appear much cleaner this year (all faculty salaries are presented in annualized format, not mixed with monthly format), Element 169 and 180 are no longer a mix and match of whole numbers, decimals, and percentages.  Thanks!



4)      New issue: Now it is rows 20 & 21 with mismatches in format that will affect the formula to calculate averages for the high school rank items.  For example, the current range of mismatched format values includes 7 or 10% or 7100%.





5)      Finally, a really nit-picky thing...  as often happens when making a pdf from excel, a few of the row heights have adjusted to now have their labels cut-off, e.g. rows 82, 172, 173, and 188.

Here is the draft of the 2015-16 Data Profile.  I will make it into a single document when it is ready for distribution.  Please review the data and let me know if there are any corrections that need to be made by the end of next week.  I will be sending Dr. Spellman a final copy of this on the 20th so it will be available for the meeting later this month.  After the meeting I will make any necessary changes and then send both the pdf report and the excel spreadsheet to you.

The word file is the intro and cover page and the pdf is the actual data.
