[Counselors] Does your school count a Foreign Language credit as a Fine Art for the CORE Graduation plan? My previous school did this, but I need to know if other schools use this practice?

Because I have never heard of such an option, we searched law to find that
it never directly addressed it because they are so distantly related. In
reading the descriptions of World Languages, there is NO mention of fine
arts. In reading the descriptions of possible fine arts, there is NO
mention of foreign languages... Having said that, I called Melissa White at
the state department and she replied with the following email.
"Foreign Language courses do not count as a Fine Art. ...

If your previous school is in the state of Oklahoma, I'd recommend letting
them know as a safeguard.
