[Counselors] Help needed please

If she was in school in Columbia it is best to keep her in her grade. The
switch over to English is much slower for the older students, but if they
have been in school their transfer of knowledge is higher.  She will need
to be in a level I ELL course that will be two hours at minimum. Do you
have a formal ELL program that would allow for that?  Your ELL department
will know to give her the W-APT to get her placement and truly discover how
much proficiency if any she has.
