[Counselors] Guidance Program Calendar

[OSRHE EPAS PK-12 Counselor Discussion Board]

Here's what we do at Beggs Elementary:

September: PEACE WEEK--- anti-bullying emphasis

October: 1) Career Day---Speakers talk to classrooms about their job, also
the police, fire, ambulance, electric, etc. bring their trucks and park
outside for classes to visit during Careers on Wheels 2) School-Wide
Carnival and 3) Red Ribbon Week

November: Native American Month and Food Drive

December: Angel Tree and Caroling downtown

January: Kindness Week and MLK emphasis

February: Black History Month

March: Get Ready for Testing

April: TESTING---no programs or field trips during testing

May: Cinco de Mayo and Field Day
