I thought you might appreciate the National Memorial's webinar about social media and youth, as well as the extended deadline for annual essay contest.

The 20th Annual Student Essay Contest encourages students to reflect on how engaging in civil conversations have made a difference in their lives and how respectful discussions can lead to a kinder, gentler world.  Grades 5-12. Please see below

Former FBI Assistant Director Frank Figliuzzi will be sharing his expertise on domestic terrorism and extremism in a teacher only interactive webcast this Monday, February 22, from 4:00-5:00pm CST. How to talk to students about these important issues and being more intelligent consumers of news will be part of the discussion. The first 50 teachers to register will receive a copy of Figliuzzi's book on The FBI Way: Inside the Bureau's Code of Excellence.
