We also require the student to be enrolled to utilize summer Federal
Work-Study funding.

We know about the rules for allowing students to use FWS during periods
of non-enrollment, but frankly, we don't have enough $ to meet all the
need of the enrolled students, no less students who aren't
enrolled-----and tracking the amount that has to be counted as a
resource for the upcoming year is a pain.

Subject: [Oasfaa] Summer Work

Good Afternoon,

I would like to know how some of you handle summer work. We require
that students be enrolled to work on campus in the summer time. We are
now getting many requests, for one reason or another, as to why they
can't attend summer school. We try to build summer enrollment - that is
one reason that we require them to be enrolled.

Just curious to see how some of you handle it??? Thanks in advance for
your help.
