Default Prevention Coordinator position

Kansas City Metropolitan Community College (MCC) is searching for a special
person to fill our newly-created Program Coordinator--Default Prevention
position! Reporting to the District Director of Student Financial Aid, the
Coordinator will develop and manage a comprehensive district-wide default
prevention and financial education initiative. Although MCC's most recent Cohort
Default Rate is only 3.9%, we recognize the need for an aggressive program to
educate and support our students throughout the loan life cycle.

This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, self-motivated person who
understands the federal student loan programs. A Bachelor's Degree is
required and we prefer candidates who hold or are willing to pursue Certified
Financial Planner certification. Although some student contact will be involved,
this is primarily a project management position.

The salary range is $3,591 to $3,924 per month (Range 8E) and we offer
really excellent benefits. Although partially funded through a Default Prevention
Grant from the Missouri Department of Higher Education, this is a permanent
MCC position.

I would be more than happy to discuss the position with you, if it piques
your interest! A complete description and details can be found here:
http://www.mcckcjobs.com MCC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer
and women and minorities are encouraged to
apply.

Thank you!
