This is a reminder regarding the spring 2007 OTAG reporting deadlines that were announced earlier for the 2006-2007 award year. Please keep in mind that the earlier ALL institutions complete the process of claiming their spring awards and wrap up their disbursement activities and reporting, the sooner we can determine if there will be funds available to award in summer 2007.

Spring 2007 deadlines are:

	·	March 2, 2007 Each participating institution shall submit initial spring semester award claims for all eligible OTAG students no later than Friday, March 2, 2007. The president or chief executive officer of any institution not submitting an initial claim by this date will be notified in writing within 5 business days.
	·	April 10, 2007 No further requests for awards, or for increases of individual awards already disbursed, for the spring 2007 semester will be accepted after April 10, 2007. Requests for exceptions due to extraordinary circumstances may be granted only upon approval of the Chancellor for Higher Education and must be submitted in writing to the Chancellor.
Note: In planning the timing of your award claims, be aware that waiting until the April 10 final deadline to submit an award claim, does not relieve your responsibility to adhere to the April 17 deadline described next.
	·	April 17, 2007 Institutions shall notify the State Regents of any pending refunds that have not already been returned to the State Regents.
	·	April 20, 2007 The State Regents shall announce if any OTAG funds are available for awards in the summer 2007 semester. If funds are available, the State Regents shall also announce awarding criteria.

FYI, OTAG staff member Candice (Amey) Campbell is currently out of the office on maternity leave, having welcomed a healthy baby girl into their family on January 17. During Candice's absence, please contact Audrey or me regarding issues that you would otherwise speak with Candice about.

We appreciate your assistance in delivering OTAG funds to Oklahoma's eligible students and in adhering to the set deadlines for the betterment of the delivery process for all participating institutions, and most especially for the students who benefit from the program.
