Responsible for the daily certification of the Federal Family Education
Loan (FFEL) program and Alternative Loans for the Financial Aid and
Scholarship office. Counsels students and parents and serves as liaison
between the institution and the lending community. Monitors loan
originations and responsible for reconciliation of loan funds. Provides
recommendations regarding office policies and procedures in relations to
federal guidelines governing loan processing.

 

Requirements include:

One to two years experience in a post-secondary financial aid
administrative position, with an emphasis on student loan processing 

Excellent communication and organizational skills 

Ability to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with the
lending community 

Comprehensive knowledge of federal guidelines governing loan processing 

Working knowledge of funds reconciliation 

High school degree required, associate's degree preferred 

Salary: $13.10 per hour with generous benefit package
