Dear SWASFAA Member,

SWASFAA will hold a charity fundraiser auction at our 2008 
annual conference on Thursday, December 11th.  This year, 
the auction will be a two-part event: Part 1 : a silent 
auction beginning during our luncheon on Thursday; Part 2 : 
an exciting live auction in the afternoon to get your blood 
pumping!  With your help, we can make this a successful 
auction.

Here's how you can help:

1.Gather items for donation to the auction.  Some 
items that have sold well in the past are gift baskets, 
wine, holiday items, children's items, food items, 
electronic equipment, artwork, books, soft sided coolers 
and cooler stands.  Try to bring items typical of your 
region.  Items with college logos and gift certificates are 
typically not good sellers in auctions so steer clear of 
these items, if possible.

2.Mark you calendar now and plan to attend the 
auction on December 11th.   

3.Bring your checkbook!

If you would like to ship your items to me prior to 
conference time rather than carry them with you while 
traveling, you may do so.  I will keep them safe and 
transport them to the conference site to save you some 
trouble.  If you plan to bring your item(s) with you, I 
will need a complete list of those items by no later than 
Wednesday, December 3rd.
