Dear Colleagues:

I hope everyone is doing well.

NASFAA is now accepting session proposals online at http://www.nasfaa.org/ctinterestsessions091508. For those of you who plan to attend the NASFAA 2009 conference in San Antonio, TX, this could be a great opportunity to get the training you want. The deadline for submitting an interest session is October 24.

The procedures for submitting an interest session have recently changed to the following:

1. The interest session proposal must include:
a. Title
b. Description
c. One moderator
d. Two presenters

2. When adding the moderator and presenters to your session, be sure to use the email address that is associated with their NASFAA membership. This is most often the person's work email address. If you are not sure what email the person uses for their NASFAA account, please contact them beforehand. This information must be correct in order for the submission to be submitted properly.

3. Once you submit your session, you will receive an acknowledgment email. The sender will be noreply at ungerboeck.com. Please add noreply at ungerboeck.com to your email address book so that the email is not rejected as SPAM.

4. The Conference Committee will meet at the beginning of November to review all sessions submitted. You will be informed by the end of November about whether or not the session was accepted.

5. It is your responsibility to inform the moderator and presenters of your institution to submit their names for inclusion on the conference program.

6. If the session is accepted, all moderators and presenters must register to attend the conference.

Sincerely,

Andrew Hammontree
