DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL AID



WENTWORTH MILITARY ACADEMY AND COLLEGE (www.wma.edu<http://www.wma.edu>) is seeking a Director of Financial Aid (initially part-time with the possibility of moving to full-time). A full-time Financial Aid Officer and a part-time financial aid consultant are currently carrying out the financial aid office responsibilities.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Financial Aid is responsible for planning, coordinating, and administering all student financial aid programs; maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations; developing and implementing institutional policies and procedures to maintain appropriate internal controls; working closely with enrollment management to support recruitment and retention strategies, and ensuring that high quality service is delivered to all department constituents. Bachelor's degree, with master's desirable and 4 to 7 years of relevant higher education administrative experience, including 2 years of financial aid experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
