Session descriptions for Decentralized Training are below:

150% Subsidized Loan Limitation - Are We Doing It Right?
The training will review the calculation and application of the limitation, school reporting and loan counseling responsibilities related to the limitation, and best practices for advising students about the impact limitation outside of required loan counseling.

Their Money Matters
The ability to successfully manage money is a key skill for any college student. Oklahoma Money Matters, the financial literacy initiative of the Oklahoma College Assistance Program and the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, will help attendees incorporate financial education into the work they are already doing by recognizing and taking advantage of teachable moments. Topics discussed will include counseling strategies, understanding the psychology of student spending, and much more. Participants will leave the session with increased knowledge and tangible tools and resources that will help the students they serve become better money managers who maximize their financial aid and make wiser borrowing decisions.
