Morning, OASFAA! I’m reading up on these temporary changes to SNAP eligibility. Have you had a chance to read through it yet?

With our student population being what it is, we don’t see many of our students whose families qualify for SNAP, so I’m just not that familiar with the typical eligibility requirements. While we don’t participate in FWS, we do have a LOT of 0 EFC students. Am I reading this correctly that the SNAP eligibility is now expanded to students who are eligible to participate in FWS OR have a 0 EFC? Like it’s just that simple and they can go through the application process? Or am I missing something? We have a lot of 0 EFC students, so if this is a temporary resource for them, I want to make them aware of it.

Thank you!
