[Oasfaa] New Interest Rates

Exciting news...regarding the new interest rates effective July 1, 2001!

The U.S. Department of Education (DE) recently announced the new interest
rates and they are much lower than in the past. This will be excellent news
for student borrowers!

Stafford rates - loan with first disbursement made on or after 7/1/98, for
in-school, grace and deferment periods, the rate effective 7/1/01 is 5.39%.
The rate for all other periods is 5.99%.

PLUS rates - loan with first disbursement made on or after 7/1/98, the rate
effective 7/1/01 is 6.79%.
