National Default Prevention Day - Registration Deadline Extended
The U.S. Department of Education's first National Default Prevention Day
(NDPD) is scheduled for August 2, 2001. This one-day event will be held in
each of ED's ten regional cities and Washington, DC. Due to the high level
of interest, the registration deadline has been extended until July 18,
2001. Registrations for several of ED's Regional Training Facilities have
exceeded available space, and we are in the process of locating alternate
facilities nearby. If you have attempted to register for one of our eleven
locations and have been unable to do so, please try again. As larger
facilities are identified, the on-line system will permit additional
registrations. Attendees will receive a personal e-mail message with any
changes in workshop location and other pertinent information soon.
Information about NDPD is available at
<http://www.ifap.ed.gov/eannouncements/0612DefaultPrevention.html>. This
site includes a link to the registration page.
Still have questions? You may call the Dallas Regional Office at
214-880-2410 or visit the link above and see the regional contact for the
office closest to you. We look forward to seeing you at this important
workshop.
