Hey Julie,

Can't help but rib you about your "Oklahoma State University ? Stillwater" line. I know a lot of Sooner fans question the type of school located in Stillwater, but I've never seen the same question coming from a Cowboy fan. You'll probably be hearing from Pam because shy as she is, this one's too good to let get away.  ;-)

Oklahoma State University ? Stillwater

Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid is seeking an individual to 
become a Financial Aid Counselor for Oklahoma State University ? 
Stillwater.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
        ·       Provide financial aid counseling for students and parents by making 
available information on all aid programs; advise application procedure; 
counsel students and families of budgeting educational funds and respond 
to inquiries
        ·       Review aid applications and make necessary entries and/or revision to the 
electronic file; verify the accuracy of reported information; identify, 
request and review required documentation; check for completeness of 
documentation and confirm or recalculate family contribution and budget 
figures
        ·       Provide off-campus workshops and financial aid presentations to high 
schools and civic organizations upon request
        ·       Act as financial aid liaison for one (assigned) College of the University 
by establishing and maintaining regular contact with the Student Services 
Coordinator of the designated College and providing financial aid 
workshops/programs for students, faculty and staff as needed
        ·       Monitor the status of aid applications and accuracy of awards by working 
various weekly system-generated reports and other ad hoc reports to check 
the status of aid applications and award accuracy
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPENSATION:  A minimum of a Bachelors Degree is required with 2 years related 
experience.  Group and public presentation experience desirable. Knowledge 
of SIS PLUS desirable.   Salary offered will be commensurate with the 
candidate's professional experience.  OSU offers an attractive Benefits

LOCATION PROFILE:  Oklahoma State University is a comprehensive land-grant university

The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, which annually administers 
programs that total approximately 120 million dollars, has a long history
