AIR, with support from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), is pleased to provide the higher education community with free online tutorials for Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) surveys.  Available on AIR’s website<http://cts.vresp.com/c/?AssociationforInstit/e6aa51cc6b/026633cb01/448a8a86fe>, these tutorials provide step-by-step instructions – by institutional sector – on how to complete IPEDS survey components and include a “What’s New” section, which outlines changes in the IPEDS surveys from the previous year.

Tutorials for all 2010-11 IPEDS surveys, along with other IPEDS data tools tutorials, including the IPEDS Data Center and College Navigator, are available. AIR’s data tools tutorials are updated on a regular basis, as NCES releases updates. Look for an updated tutorial on the Executive Peer Tool and Data Feedback Reports, and a new tutorial about the IPEDS State Data Center, later this spring. AIR’s training on IPEDS data submission and use is in support of our mission to improve data and decisions for higher education.
