OKLAHOMA COLLEGE ACCESS CONFERENCE

The Oklahoma College Assistance Program (OCAP) invites you to attend the 2020 Oklahoma College Access Conference. This event will take place on February 5 from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. at Oklahoma City Community College.
This conference is free to attend and will deliver important information and best practices to help you guide your students to reach their post-secondary goals. Participants can expect to connect with other professionals and hear from a panel about different campus resources available for your students' success. Other topics will include:

  *   Individual Career Academic Plan (ICAP)
  *   Challenges for students and resources to help them
  *   Finding and applying for scholarships
  *   ACT and Pre-ACT

These free workshops will focus entirely on using OKcollegestart.org's Individual Career Academic Plan (ICAP) feature. Join us to receive hands-on support as you update required ICAP activities and run ICAP reports to monitor student progress.

For Counselors Only Conference

The Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education, State Department of Education and the Oklahoma Regents for Higher Education is excited about partnering to host our annual For Counselors Only Conference on March 10, 2020 at the Hilton Garden Inn & Edmond Conference Center. For 16 years this free conference has provide our counselors the opportunity to connect and network with the Oklahoma school counseling communities. They take this day to focus on effective programs, professional advocacy and the tools they need to provide results showing the impact of school counseling programs.

The call for proposals to present at the Counselor Only Conference at the Hilton Garden Inn Conference Center in Edmond is open through February 1.  We have heard many great best practices being shared.  Please consider sharing with your peers.
