Please see the request below relating to the bills now in the House on increasing the bid threshold. Burr is trying to organize specific examples to explain to legislative members the practically of moving the bid threshold to a greater amount.  Thanks. Sheri,

Would it be possible for you to send out an interrogatory to COBO for any examples of building repair projects that went above the current $25,000 threshold, and therefore had to have a bid period of 21 days, an architect's involvement, and performance bond? Also, did the statutory requirements cause any problems or delays with respect to the repairs?

If possible, I'd like to have some actual examples of the difficulty these requirements present for us.
