Subject: General Session Training Enrollment Open

CORE COMMUNICATIONS NOTICE 4-3-03

The CORE End-User Training schedule is now open for registrations for the
                               first month!

This is the actual enrollment process for the Core courses.

Previous sign up efforts were used for number counts only. Seats will be
provided for employees who were previously identified from each agency.

REMINDERS

ü Only End Users who will actually use the CORE solution to perform
their daily job responsibilities should attend this first round of
training.

ü After the July go-live, training will be available for other
additional employees on an as needed basis.

ü Some agencies have elected to train their own employees at their own
agency site.

ü This enrollment process does not apply to the following agencies,
(Transportation, Corrections, Department of Rehab Services, and Department
of Human Services).

ü Please be on time!

ü Yes, most courses begin at 8:00 AM. Please reference the course
schedule for specific times.

ü Training demand is extremely high. The State has worked very hard
to provide a seat for everyone. However, seating is limited, therefore it
is offered on a first come, first served basis. If you do not attend the
courses you have registered for, there is no guarantee there will be an
opening in the subsequent classes.

A spreadsheet listing course titles, codes, dates, and locations is located
at http://www.youroklahoma.com/coreoklahoma/training.html. There was some
confusion during the SME training surrounding half-day classes and two-hour
classes. As a result, we have used additional course codes to identify
those shorter sessions of a course. Please read the course codes
carefully.

A CORE Nomination Form to facilitate registration via Fax is also on the
Training webpage.

AGENCY RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Identify who should attend each specific course.

2. Please touch base with the individual to determine the best date.

3. Caution ? Seating is limited. Once a course is full, there will only
be a small waiting list. Your nominee may have to select an alternate
date.

4. You can register your folks electronically. Please coordinate with
the person in your agency whom has been identified as the Nominating
Official for management training provided by OPM. You probably worked with
the Nominating Official during the SME registrations. Complete the CORE
Nomination Form and return it to the Nominating Official.

5. Nominating Officials can complete the form and fax it to us directly.
The Office of Personnel Management, Training Division will send
confirmation notices to the Nominating Official.
