In  order  to  insure  that  all agencies have access to the new PeopleSoft
system, following is a link to test the login screen.  Because the new CORE
applications  for  Purchasing,  General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Human
Resources  are  web  based, we recommend the following test.  Have all your
end  users  click  on  the  link  located  below.    The  user should see a
Peopelsoft8 Login Screen with a place to enter a User ID and Password.  The
address  below  may  first take you to a Security Alert Box.  Just click on
the  YES at the bottom of the box to proceed.  The Peoplesoft8 Login Screen
should appear.  This is just a one time test to ensure connectivity.

To  exit  from the Peoplesoft8 Login Screen, go to top right hand corner of
the  screen  and  click  the X or go to top left hand corner and click File
then click Close.

If  your  end users cannot connect on the web and see the Login Screen, the
agency  must  contact their own agency's technical help desk.  Advise users
to document connection problems for your technical staff.  Inability to see
this screen is a security issue at your site.  We recommend that the agency
try  this  link  from  each  location  that the agency maintains before the
Go-Live  date  of October 1, 2003 for Purchasing and Financials and January
1, 2004 for Human Resources and Payroll/Time and Labor/ and Benefits.
