[Cobo] CORE Training for Higher Education

> Attached is the schedule developed by OPM listing the training sessions that have been established for the CORE courses needed by Higher Education staff.  This schedule will not be posted on the CORE web site.   Please note that the schedule is presented in a way that will assist you in scheduling your staff in two courses on the same day, except for two days.  Each session at the DHS Training site can accommodate 16 people and the Oklahoma City Community College training site can accommodate 18 people.  The scheduling will be coordinated through our office using the following process:  Each institution should respond to this e-mail with the individual staff names; course numbers; desired training dates and time; and an alternate training date for each staff member you wish to schedule.   Individuals will be scheduled in the order in which responses are received.  Once a class is filled the alternate date will be used for scheduling.    Enrollment will be confirmed by return e-mail.  If the course dates you initially select are full, you will be notified by return e-mail with remaining dates that are available and asked to resubmit with new desired dates.   Please remember to have your staff print the training manuals and exercises for the courses from the CORE web site and bring them to the class.  They will not be provided by the trainer.

> From Oklahoma City drive south on I-35.  Take the left exit to Norman, US 77.  Turn left on Rock Creek Road the second light after the exit)  Cross the railroad tracks and drive about a half mile.  The Training Center is on the left side of the road.  Enter the East door, (the door facing the large parking lot).  The class name and room number will be posted on the bulletin board as you enter the building.  There is also a receptionist by the door who can assist participants.  If you are driving north on I-35, exit on Robinson, turn Right (East) and drive about four miles to Stubbeman street (just across the railroad tracks).  Turn Left (North) and drive one mile to Rock Creek Road.  The DHS Training Center will be on the left.
