Hello everyone:

I am continuing to work on the comprehensive Employee Benefits survey. I have called several Institutions, or referenced web-sites to verify the amounts paid for health insurance and other benefits (i.e. dental, vision, life insurance, etc), but still have a few that I will be contacting. We hope to distribute and review this information at the next COBO meeting. I will send a draft copy later this week for your review.

Another important component that clarifies the benefits offered, is the definition of a "Full-time Employee". Being a "FTE" is the benefit eligibility requirement for most Institutions. A few do offer benefits to part-time employees. I have attached the information from the 2001 survey related to each Institution's definition of a Full-time Employee for benefit purposes.

Please review the information for your Institution and let me know if it is still accurate or needs to be changed.

Thanks again for your help.
Debbie
