Subject:          Mid-Year Appropriations Reduction


We have been advised that the revised FY18 General Appropriations bill, HB 1020XX, is scheduled to be heard in the Joint Committee on Appropriations and Budget this afternoon at 4:00 p.m.

As part of HB 1020XX, the state system of higher education would receive a FY18 mid-year appropriation reduction of $4,718,993 (0.6 percent) from the original FY18 appropriation amount.


I have attached a copy of the allocation spreadsheet showing the across the board impact of the proposed FY18 mid-year reduction.
