On May 15, the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) issued updated guidance to postsecondary institutions<https://ifap.ed.gov/electronic-announcements/051520UPDATEDGuidanceInterruptStudyRelCOVID19May2020> regarding the CARES Act and the Higher Education Act, expanding upon the agency's March 5, 2020<https://ifap.ed.gov/electronic-announcements/030520Guidance4interruptionsrelated2CoronavirusCOVID19>, and April 3, 2020<https://ifap.ed.gov/electronic-announcements/040320UPDATEDGuidanceInterruptStudyRelCOVID19>, guidance.  Operational information addressed in the guidance includes accreditation, extension of distance education provisions, financial statement and compliance audit requirements, and federal Title IV student aid program adjustments, among other key topics. A copy of a Title IV financial aid Q&A document is also attached for your information.
