SUMMARY:
The Vice President for Finance and Administration is the administrator responsible for the financial and physical condition of the University. Reporting directly to the President, the Vice President is responsible for the receipting of all monies received for the University; formulating budgeting information and producing the budget, proper disbursement of all monies spent by the University and proper presentation of the financial statements of the University. The Vice President is also responsible for the entire physical plant of the campus, including maintenance and new construction and oversees Purchasing, Physical Plant, Duplicating, Accounting, Bursar, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Employment Services, Fleet, and Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action as well as some of the auxiliary enterprises, such as Mail and Print Services.

TASKS AND DUTIES:
* Responsible for all matters relating to the fiscal management of the University;
* Completes duties as assigned by the President and works closely with other vice presidents;
* Coordinates the accounting and reporting functions of the financial office and accounting office;
* Completes reports, surveys, etc., required by the Board of Regents of Oklahoma Colleges as well as other state, federal and county agencies;
* Completes reports, surveys, etc., required by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education;
* Conducts staff meetings with the supervisors of all departments who report directly to the Vice President for Administration, including Directors of Purchasing, Physical Plant, Duplicating, Controller, ECU Police, Information Technology, Fleet and Director Employment Services, as well as managers of auxiliary enterprises;
* Communicates with faculty, staff and students.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Prospective candidate must have senior level managerial responsibility with demonstrated leadership accomplishments in a complex organization within a university environment, or equivalent, in the financial and administrative areas. They must have a demonstrated understanding of sophisticated financial and computer systems, human resource management, facilities management, financial management, and a commitment to social justice, affirmative action and equal opportunity. It is preferable that the individual possess a working knowledge and experience dealing with the Oklahoma State System of Higher Education. Master's Degree desired; but a combination of a Bachelor's Degree, CPA and senior level financial management would be considered.

SALARY: $125,000 - $140,000
