Presidents:

Today I am attaching a document which I hope provides an initial framework for tracking and reporting on the Oklahoma Capital Asset Maintenance and Protection (OCAMP) Act funds. We likely have significant refinement to do as we move forward in year one, but Chancellor Garrett wanted to provide you a broad guidance at the outset. All of us are committed to provide maximum transparency and accountability for the OCAMP funds and to accurately track each project, its progress, and the application of OCAMP funds toward the essential maintenance projects on each of your campuses.

In the net weeks, it is my hope to expand, where necessary, the detail of essential reporting and monitoring. My intent is to provide some standardization through the completion and distribution of quarterly report formats and maintain files with the Regents for each deferred maintenance project to be addressed this year. While we will formalize the reporting deadlines, currently you can anticipate required reporting by September 30, 2024, December 31, 2024, March 31, 2025 and June 30, 2025.

I really appreciate your patience as we seek to establish the most efficient and effective methods to maintain accurate records for projects. I am certain we will all confront unforeseen questions and challenges, and I welcome any and all suggestions for improving the process.
