Me, too! Walking away with meaningful activities that we can turn around and implement into our instruction would be valuable! I love to hear all the creative things people are doing.

I love the idea of an instruction activities meeting! I think that would be a very worthwhile use of our time.

Howdy folks!
We had an amazing workshop this July, with 30 attendees. The workshop cost was 252.50 and we took in 310.00, for a profit of $58.00. So we stayed in the black this year.
Most of the presentations of the speakers this year are up on the website. Sheila and I will continue to work to get them all posted:

Comments and feedback is very positive. 20/30 attendees submitted their feedback form. We can talk about the comments and quotes at our next meeting. Speaking of which...
I'll post a doodle poll soon to organize a time for our next meeting, likely in September. I was thinking that the theme of the meeting could be "instruction activities." This is a great time to share a segment, clip, or activity that you like to do in your information literacy instruction, and see what other folks are introducing in their info lit classes. I have a fun presentation where I compare results from Google with results from library resources and see if the students can guess which come from where that I can share. Ideally, we can meet somewhere f2f with a classroom and take turns presenting our segments. Does this sound like a worthy endeavor?
