I’m sorry to hear that you won’t be chair this upcoming year Kate. I look forward to seeing you as often as you can make it!

Speaking of offices for COIL, I’ve had several people express interest in the office positions for 2014. Very soon, I’ll send out a consolidated list, and I’d like to throw a poll out there for an October Meeting, likely close to the end of the month. I’m excited to swap instruction segments with folks :)

If you are interested in holding an office position for 2014 and haven’t yet contacted me (or you have and want to remind me) please send me a message this week. Also please let me know if you are currently in a position and are interested in staying on another year. Our open positions are:

Chair
Chair elect
Secretary
Webmaster
Director Representative

Thanks!

Subject: [Coil-l] next year

Dear Adam and Coil-ers,

I am writing to resign my position of Chair-elect. I am sorry for putting you in the position of needing to replace me with short notice. I hope you can add Chair to the upcoming election roster. There are several reasons for my decision, especially, concern about lack of time in the coming year. I have enjoyed working with the group this year, and plan to continue to attend meetings when I can get away.

Sincerely,

Kate
