What Does DONE Look Like? Project Planning for Oral History
June 18, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
This free online workshop focuses on the logistics of planning and implementing oral history projects and is designed for individuals and teams who are conceptualizing an oral history project or already in the process of developing one. The webinar will introduce participants to a project planning “tool kit,” a step-by-step resource for effective and ethical oral history projects and will include information about community oral history projects.

Speakers:
Troy Reeves is the Distinguished Oral Historian at the UW-Madison Archives & Records Management. He oversees the key components of managing an oral history program—collecting and curating oral history recordings, as well as communicating and collaborating with interested individuals about the art and science of oral history. Reeves is the Vice President of the Oral History Association.
Jen Cramer is the Director of the T. Harry Williams Center for Oral History and has overseen all oral history projects for the LSU Libraries and manages an oral history collection of over 6,000 interviews with topics on Louisiana politics, culture, military, the environmental movement, civil rights, women’s history, and coastal changes. She is an active member and leader in the Oral History Association.
