[Counselors] Internships - Responses #2

[OSRHEStudent Prep PK-12 Counselor Discussion Board]

Do any of your schools offer internships for seniors? If so, please respond. I'd like to briefly discuss how your school handles this.

  *   We also use OCAS codes 8419 and 8420 - the School & Community Partnerships classes for our "Job Out" students.  8419 is for students taking the class for the first time (Jrs or Srs only), and it is worth 2 credits.  8420 would be for Srs who took 8419 as a Jr; it is worth 3 credits. michelle at rattan.k12.ok.us<mailto:michelle at rattan.k12.ok.us>

  *   We do sponsor apprenticeships if wanted.  Also, we have concurrent classes on our campus.  Some of our alumni sponsor scholarships for certain areas of interest.  tedwards at forttowson.k12.ok.us<mailto:tedwards at forttowson.k12.ok.us>
