To Desire2Learn Self-Hosted clients

 

Self-hosted clients on some versions of the Learning Environment will be
required to run an online clean-up script prior to requesting the
upgrade to the following Service Packs (or later service packs):

*	Learning Suite 10.1.0 SP9
*	Learning Suite 10.0.0 SP13
*	Learning Suite 9.4.1 SP18

 

Why is the script required?

 

It has been found that obsolete data in the database can contribute to
extremely long deployment times for the above service packs. Therefore
we would like to request that the online clean-up script is run on your
self-hosted instances prior to the scheduling and deployment of these
service packs.

 

If you opt to skip to any subsequent service packs, this requirement
will also apply, due to the cumulative nature of our service packs. 

 

If the script has not been run prior to scheduling these service packs,
this may cause your service pack to be rescheduled until the script can
be run.
