[Eoscstudents] Menu for TGI Friday

Hi folks,

I hope you all got to go to Judy Bett's retirement party yesterday.  It 
was really nice, with a beautiful tasty cake, and other refreshments, 
really great nostalgic pictures of Judy through the years, a money tree 
(I want some seeds) , several wonderful gifts from friends and 
co-workers, and lots of folks there to wish Judy all the best in her 
retirement.  She should realize now, if she didn't before, how much 
she's thought of around here.

This morning as I was driving to work, the frost was sparkling like 
fireflies on a summer night.   I had never seen it sparkle so before.  
Thankfully, in spite of the extremely cold temperatures, there wasn't a 
lot of it on my windshield to have to deal with.

We had our PAWS make-up meeting for Nov. since it had been cancelled due 
to the bad weather.  It was bittersweet, since we were bidding farewell 
to a really special member, Phillip Mauney, who is moving back home to 
North Carolina. He has promised to keep in touch, though, so it's not 
really goodbye.  He will most certainly be missed by our little group.

Don't forget the Christmas parade downtown tomorrow evening.

Our menu for today includes:

          Baked pork chops
          Turkey noodle soup
          Mashed potatoes and gravy
          Spaghetti with meat sauce
          Corn
          Black eye peas

Our fast food is Smoked Sausage and Chips.

And for dessert we have Yellow Cake with Chocolate Cake with Chocolate 
Frosting.
