[Eoscstudents] Menu for Tues. May 8

Hi folks,

Well, if I had to guess, I'd say our drought situation is over for a 
while anyway.  It's rained so much already I could almost swear my toes 
are beginning to web, and according to the weather report there's a 
chance or more rain every day this week.  You know how kids are when it 
comes to playing in water.  My daughter, even though she's at the age 
where she thinks she's grown and is way too cool when it comes to most 
things, somehow becomes about 3 years old again when it comes to 
splashing and playing in the water.  She and her cousins were playing in 
the big ditch in front of their house yesterday and she gave her cell 
phone a near death experience.  She had waded in knee deep, and without 
thinking about the cell phone being in her pocket, just went all in and 
didn't realize she was drowning her most prized possession.  
Fortunately, it wasn't so bad that it couldn't be revived.  This morning 
she opened it up and it came back to life.  I guess the moral of this 
story is:  Old fashioned puddle jumping does not mix well with new 
fangled gadgets.

Our menu for today includes:
      
          Pork chops
          Mashed potatoes and gravy
          Sweet peas
          Corn
          Garden blend rice
          Baked potato bar
          Hot rolls

Our fast food for today is Beef Stew and Cornbread.

And for dessert have some Banana Pudding.
