[Eoscstudents] Menu for TGI Fri. Jan. 11

Hi folks,

Well, it's finally Friday, and we've survived the first week of classes 
without any casualties, (that I know of).   I know the students think it 
will be forever til May, but it will go surprisingly fast, I promise.  I 
always say, the years go fast, it's the days that take so long, and if 
you don't know what I mean, you're not old enough yet. 

I want to wish a very happy birthday to Helen Scott, whose party was 
yesterday, but whose actual birthday (the big 4-0) is not til tomorrow.  
Believe me Helen, 40 is totally survivable.  Just think how much more 
you know now and how much more you've experienced than you had at 20.  
And remember, the people who have the most birthdays live the longest, 
so we wish you a whole lot more than 40.  I also seem to have neglected 
in all the busy-ness of yesterday to wish a happy birthday to Brenda 
Kennedy.  And for that matter, Carolyn Clark, our veggie cook, and Kim 
Ott of the Foundation Office, as well as George Larson with Gear Up have 
all celebrated birthdays during our time off and didn't get their 
birthday wishes either.    Happy birthday to these members of our 
Eastern Familiy, also.

Our menu for today includes:

                Enchiladas
                Chicken strips
                Mashed potatoes and gravy
                Mexican rice
                Refried beans
                Corn
                Fried okra
                Chicken gumbo soup

And for dessert have a piece of  Strawberry Cake with Cream Cheese icing 
and sprinkles.
