[Eoscstudents] Menu for TGI Thurs. June 5

Hi folks,

I hope none of you have blown away yet.  The wind has really been 
blowing like crazy for it seems like days now.  I know it does this all 
the time in Western Oklahoma, but do you suppose it's gotten lost?  I 
looked out a while ago and saw stormy looking clouds like it could rain, 
but I'm afraid if it does rain here, it will blow into the next state 
before it lands! 

I noticed that we're down to fumes in our propane tank at the house the 
other day, and called in to see about getting a refill.  We may be 
taking cold showers at the house until our loan comes through.  I really 
think we're missing out by not having a wind powered heating and cooling 
system.  Just in the past several days, we could've generated enough to 
heat all our water and probably stored up enough energy to cool the 
house for the rest of the summer.  I'm thinking about attaching a big 
sail to my station wagon.  I think if I could learn to use it right, I 
could save all kinds of gas mileage!

Music lovers, don't forget to keep your calendar open for next Tues. 
night's concert by Les Brelsford at the Presbyterian Church at 7:00 
p.m.  I still have tickets for sale at $10.00 apiece.  Proceeds from 
this event will go to support the Latimer County Arts Council to help 
them provide quality arts programs in all four county schools.

Our menu for today includes:

             Chicken strips
             Mashed potatoes and gravy
             Green beans
             Corn
             Angel hair pasta with marinara sauce
             Hot rolls
             Hamburgers
             French fries

And for dessert have a luscious piece of Banana Split Cake.
