Hi folks,

Wow, it's hard to believe it's the 20th of October already!  It is foggy 
enough to look like it though, but the beautiful, new chrysanthemums in 
the pots around the clock tower add a nice tough of seasonal color. 

The 9th installment of the Julian J. Rothbaum Lectureship series will be 
today at 10:30 a.m. in Mitchell Auditorium, and will feature Oklahoma 
Bureau of Narcotic and Dangerous Drugs  Control Director R. Darrell 
Weaver.  The topic of discussion today will be "From Moonshine to Meth - 
The Inner Darkness of Oklahoma".  All interested parties are urged to 
attend what promises to be an interesting and informative session.

Also today is the last chance to get your photo in the next Mountaineer 
Yearbook!  Get on over to Mitchell 110 between 9:00 and 3:00 and say cheese!

Happy Birthday wishes go out today to longtime Eastern faculty member, 
Mrs. Patricia Thomas.  Have a wonderful day, Mrs. Thomas!

Our menu for today includes:
          Meatloaf
          Scalloped potatoes
          Broccoli and cheese
          Scandinavian blend vegetables
          Hominy

And for dessert, have a luscious piece of Strawberry Cake.
