Hi folks,

I was surprised to hear rain splashing in my rain barrel this morning.  
Guess I shouldn't have been, since it was predicted, but I definitely 
wasn't expecting as much as we've gotten.  It was really pouring for a 
while this morning.  People were coming in for breakfast all covered in 
water spots. 

Good luck to our Softball and Baseball teams, who have games to travel 
to today.  I hope they're headed somewhere where it's not raining.  
Rain's not bad for basketball, but it'll definitely mess up a softball 
or baseball game.  There's a football game scheduled at Wilburton High 
School this evening against Panama, too.  Let's hope that doesn't get 
rained out.  They don't have as many home games on their schedule this 
year as they do away games, and my family was planning on going to this 
one, so if I had my way, I'd just as soon not be wet all through it.

Also, there's a PAWS adoption day scheduled for tomorrow and I really 
hope that doesn't get rained out.  We have a lot of dogs that need to 
find homes.

English instructor, Laurence Raunikar, will celebrate his birthday 
tomorrow.  I hope he has an enjoyable one.

Our menu for today includes:
          Pork loin
          Mashed potatoes and gravy
          Green beans
          Corn
          Catalina blend vegetables
          Garden blend vegetables
          Hot rolls

And for dessert, try a Cookie.
