Hi folks,

Well, one day of finals down, four to go.  Yesterday's Student Support 
Services Snack and Study Session and last night's Pillows and Pancakes 
should've given you all one last good study session to allow you to face 
those finals with confidence!  I wish you all good luck and lots of 
right answers!

A little bird told me that Chandra Akins, (Statesman Editor, 2011 
graduate, dog lover, and wife of Steve Akins, Eastern's Public 
Information Specialist and the guy who's always running around with a 
camera hanging around his neck), is celebrating a birthday today!  I bet 
there'll be a party somewhere!  Have a great one, Chandra!

Today is also the FINAL WEIGH-IN FOR EASTERN'S BIGGEST LOSER CONTEST!!! 
Be sure and get over there and get your final results tallied up.  The 
winners will be announced this Friday, with the top two contestants each 
getting a share of the winnings.  Good luck, Losers!

Be sure and listen to Dougo on Mountaineer Radio in the mornings from 
8:00 to 11:00, www.radio.eosc.edu on your computer, for great music, 
sports, public service announcements, interviews, birthday and 
anniversary announcements, such as the fact that today is Cyndi and Joe 
Campbell's 20th anniversary!  Congratulations you two!  Cyndi is the 
smiling face in the Business Office window and Joe is the custodian for 
the fieldhouse. 

Our menu for today includes:
          Pork loin
or       Chicken strips
            Steamed red potatoes
            Broccoli and rice casserole
            Corn
            Black eyed peas
            Hot rolls
And for dessert, choose between Cheesecake or an Apple Dumpling.
