[Eoscstudents] Eastern wins again!!

The e-mail below just came in.  Congratulations to the students who worked
hard and thanks to the students/staff/instructors who filled out new Voter
Registration forms.  

 

Honors students and the Theta Pi Chapter of PTK took on this endeavor. I
appreciate all involved to make this a complete success.

Congratulations to the 13 institutions which participated in the 2011 Voter
Registration Contest.  A state total of 1,405 students were registered to
vote.  A list of the complete results is attached, with the winners also
shown below.  Oklahoma Campus Compact recognizes each of the participating
campuses for their efforts in outreach and civic engagement on behalf of
their students.   

 

Join us in congratulating the 2011 winning institutions:

 

RED (institutions 0-3,000 FTE)                Eastern Oklahoma State College
(87 students, 5.7%)

WHITE (institutions 3,001-7,000 FTE)      Rogers State College (112
students, 3.5%)

BLUE (institutions 7,001-30,000 FTE)      University of Central Oklahoma
(627 students, 4.9%)

 

Faculty, administrative and student representatives of these campuses will
be recognized and awarded in an upcoming meeting of the Oklahoma State
Regents for Higher Education.
