Hi folks,
 
I hope you all had an enjoyable weekend.  Mine was busy on Saturday with weddings!  Gwen McMillen in the HR office became Gwen McDonald, and Freshman Dylan Glasco married Desi Aaron.  Glad they weren't scheduled at the same time!  
 
Today at 3:00 there will be a Residence Hall Officer Meeting in Student Center 209.  All residence hall officers should attend.
 
Wednesday, be sure and turn in your Student Time sheets, for all work study students.  And if you see Sophomore, Ashton Forwoodson, around that day, be sure and wish her a Happy 20th Birthday!
 
Thursday evening should bring a lot of talented individuals to the Cafeteria for Karaoke Night!  Come on out ready to sing, dance, or show off whatever talent you may have starting at 6:00 p.m. in the North East corner of the Cafeteria!
 
Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 there will be a Welcome Reception for new Student Support Services staff member, Kinya Meineke, in the Student Support Services office area in Johnston Hall.  Be sure and make this wonderful new addition welcome to our Eastern family, and take some time to find out more about the SSS program and how it can help our students achieve their higher education goals.
 
And Saturday, Sheryl Marmon, Physical Plant Administrative Assistant and Staff Council President, will celebrate her birthday!  Have a great day, Sheryl!  You deserve it.
 
Menus for Mon. Sept. 10 to Fri. Sept. 14:
 
Monday Lunch:  Spaghetti and meat sauce, broccoli, corn, sauteed squash, bread sticks, chocolate cake.
 
Tuesday:  Roast beef or chicken and dumplings, mashed potatoes and gravy, English peas, Cape Cod vegetables, baby carrots, hot rolls, lemon or chocolate pie.
 
Wednesday:  Pork chops, mashed potatoes and gravy, cabbage, blackeyed peas, corn, stuffing, hot rolls, cherry cobbler.
 
Thursday:  Cube steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, corn on the cob, winter blend vegetables, garden blend rice, hot rolls, banana split cake.
 
Friday:  Fish, shrimp poppers, tator tots, macaroni and cheese, pinto beans, fried okra, cornbread, peach cobbler.
 
Monday Dinner:  Chicken-n-biscuit, Frito chili pie, vegetable variety, ice cream and toppings.
 
Tuesday:  Oven beef stew and cornbread, meatball subs and chips, ice cream and toppings.
 
Wednesday:  Beef stroganoff, hot ham and cheese with fries, vegetable variety, ice cream and toppings.
 
Thursday:  Chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, fried okra, or BBQ on bun with chips, ice cream with toppings.
 
Friday:  Cyber Cafe selections.
