Hi folks,
 
Well, Homecoming Week is behind us, and after today, it sounds like we're looking at a COLD week.  Time to dig out the winter gear, at least for the week.  You know our Oklahoma weather though.  After this week, it could turn warm again.  We just have to wait and see.
 
This Tuesday is Veteran's Day, and once again, Ruth Brelsford's Honors Students will be sponsoring a FREE LUNCH at 12:00 for all veterans and active service men and women in the EOSC Cafeteria, followed by a special program in the Ballroom at 1:00.   Speakers for this program will be EOSC student veterans Gilbert Nail of Clayton, and Rocky Kimbrell of Bentonville, Ark.  
 
EOSC birthdays for this week include:  Dean of the Business Division, Kay Langham on Tuesday, our favorite radio personality, Doug Simms on Thursday, Financial Aid Director, Mimi Kelley on Friday and long time Cafeteria cook, Susie Smith on Sunday.  Be sure and wish all these fine folks a very happy birthday if you see them around campus.  
 
Lunch menus for the week include:
 
Monday:  Spaghetti and meatballs, or penne with Alfredo sauce, garlic bread sticks, corn on the cob, fried okra, baked beans, winter blend, chocolate chip brownies.
 
Tuesday:  Baked ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, hot rolls, green beans, tomato casserole, broccoli and cheese, steamed carrots, applesauce cake.
 
Wednesday:  Chicken fried steak, red skin mashed potatoes, gravy, fried squash, navy beans, rice, steamed vegetable mix, hot rolls, white cake.
 
Thursday:  Green chili chicken enchiladas, red beans and corn bread, Spanish rice, fried zucchini, steamed sweet corn, Boston cream poke cake.
 
Friday:  Fried catfish with popcorn shrimp, hush puppies, baked potatoes, steamed cabbage, macaroni and cheese, steamed broccoli, cherry cheesecake.
 
Dinner menus include:
 
Monday:  Baked chicken or hamburger steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, baked beans, steamed vegetable blend, corn nuggets, macaroni and tomatoes.
 
Tuesday:  Dorito bake, refried beans, rice, creamed corn, fried okra.
 
Wednesday:  Ribs, baked beans, bowtie pasta with garlic butter, fried potato wedges, steamed broccoli with cheese.
 
Thursday:  Hot dogs, hot links or smoked sausage dogs, topped with your choices of sauerkraut, chili or just plain, with French fries, pork and beans, steamed vegetables, macaroni and cheese.
 
Friday:  Steak fingers or chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, Texas toast, green beans, rice, steamed cauliflower with cheese.
