[Eoscstudents] International Food Festival Next Week

Dear EOSC Students, Faculty, and Staff:

 

We would like to let everyone know the EOSC Library will be hosting its
third annual "Reading with an International Flavor" food and cultural
festival on Tuesday, April 19th 2016  from 5:00 to 7:30pm at the Student
Center Ballroom. 

 

The purpose of the event is to familiarize ourselves with other cultures and
customs by eating international cuisine and learning about other countries.


 

International students, exchange students, those who have traveled to
another country, and first or second generation Americans are strongly
encouraged to participate. However, even if you just have experience and
knowledge of another country, we would be delighted to have you. This is a
wonderful learning opportunity and a way to meet new people.

 

In addition to the great food, there will be live music played by one of our
own Eastern students from Brazil and short sessions where our international
students discuss some of the interesting aspects of the countries they
represent.

 

We have been hosting this event for several years now, and it is very
popular among the EOSC community seeing continued growth every year.
Therefore, we feel confident to say you are sure to have a great time.
