[Eoscstudents] International Food Festival

Greetings EOSC Community:

 

We would like to let everyone know the EOSC Library will be hosting its
third annual "Reading with an International Flavor" food and cultural
festival on April 19th.

The idea behind this event is to get together to sample foods from other
parts of the world and learn about international culture from staff and
students attending EOSC .

All are invited to participate by cooking a dish from a country that is of
interest. If you do not know how to cook but have a unique international
experience you would like share (i.e. Peace Corps, international travel, an
ethnic dance, etc....) your attendance is encouraged.

 

In addition to the great food, there will be live music played by one of our
own Eastern students from Brazil and short sessions where our international
students discuss some of the interesting aspects of the countries they
represent.

 

Please respond to this email letting us know what you would like to cook or
any other way in which you can contribute. 

 

More information is to follow on the time and place of the event.

This email is to get a feel for who will bring what dish and gauge the level
of participation.

 

We have been hosting this event for several years now, and it is very
popular among the EOSC community seeing continued growth every year.
Therefore, we feel confident to say you are sure to have a great time.
