[Eoscstudents] Meet the Composer: Alex Shapiro

Good Morning EOSC Community!

Tomorrow afternoon at 5pm we will have composer, Alex Shapiro, joining us
via Zoom in the band room, Pratt 123.  All are welcome to join us.  Ms.
Shapiro will discuss the electronic piece, Off The Edge, which we are
performing on Tuesday, April 26 in the Mitchell Hall Auditorium (7:30pm);
as well as her production process and the creation of the electronic tracks
used in the piece.  It will be a great opportunity for anyone who is
interested in learning more about the composition side of creating
contemporary wind music.

If you are interested in attending, please send me a quick email indicating
your intent to attend.  Letting me know ensures I will have adequate
seating for those wishing to attend.

Thanks so much, and don't forget to register for band and/or choir for the
fall '22 semester!
